Description supplied by the source

Windstream is proposing a symmetric gigabit-speed broadband project within Union County. This proposed Fiber to the Premise (FttP) project will serve 79 total locations with an estimated 7 miles of fiber. The homes and businesses in the proposal cannot be viewed as just points on a map or numbers on a spreadsheet. They represent real people with real needs. The project would foster a better quality of life for many residents with improved opportunities for remote learning, work from home options, economic expansion, and enhanced telemedicine. As a quality service provider, Windstream manages its network with the goal of delivering the best possible broadband experience to its customers.

Limitations and interpretation

  • An award is a research signal. The award holder decides its own bids and subcontracts. Confirm project status and vendor needs with them.

“Not reported” means missing information, not zero. Completed and withdrawn records can remain available as historical records.
