Resound Networks proposes to deploy a licensed fixed wireless broadband network in Oklahoma County to serve 2,917 total locations, including 1,291 underserved residences, 341 unserved residences, and 1,285 Community Anchor Institutions. These NET(s) target edge-of-county zones and low-density pockets surrounding Oklahoma City’s urban core, where affordability barriers, legacy copper infrastructure, and inconsistent wireless performance have left households and institutions without access to modern broadband.\\n\\nThe deployment will rely on six tower assets—one active and five leased—strategically located to provide line-of-sight coverage and network redundancy throughout the service area. These towers have been modeled using high-resolution terrain data and RF propagation software to ensure strong signal delivery to all proposed NET(s). If new vertical infrastructure is needed to maintain capacity and meet uptime guarantees, Resound’s tower development agreements provide for immediate construction mobilization, even within higher-density regulatory environments.\\n\\nThe network will be powered by Resound’s licensed fixed wireless platform—an enterprise-grade architecture currently supporting gigabit-tier service across multiple RDOF territories. This platform supports dynamic provisioning across varied terrain and subscriber densities, and includes advanced features like centralized diagnostics, congestion-aware spectrum management, and automated failover protocols. The system is optimized for both high-density institutional clusters and lower-density residential zones.\\n\\nProject mobilization in Oklahoma County will begin within 90 days of award. Engineering, permitting, environmental reviews, and utility coordination will begin immediately, with construction following a highly structured rollout plan to ensure minimal disruption in more regulated urban-fringe areas. Community Anchor Institutions—including schools, workforce development centers, nonprofit clinics, and municipal agencies—will be prioritized for early connection to accelerate economic and social service access.\\n\\nThis project represents a strategic expansion of BEAD infrastructure into underserved portions of Oklahoma’s most populous county, ensuring even its fringe communities have access to broadband that is fast, reliable, and sustainable into the future.
