Description supplied by the source
Resound Networks proposes to deploy a licensed fixed wireless broadband network in Beaver County to deliver high-speed broadband service to 28 total locations, including 19 underserved residences, 1 unserved location, and 8 Community Anchor Institutions. These NET(s) meet BEAD eligibility due to their mixed underserved and unserved status, and Resound’s deployment will fully close the connectivity gap while enabling gigabit-capable service offerings.\\n\\nService delivery will be coordinated through leased tower infrastructure currently in place, with full flexibility to build supplemental towers if required by coverage limitations, propagation characteristics, or unforeseen right-of-way or permitting issues. Through master agreements with leading tower operators, Resound can efficiently activate or augment vertical assets to maintain pace and performance commitments across federal broadband programs, including BEAD.\\n\\nThe network will use licensed fixed wireless technology with a track record of exceeding performance and deployment expectations under the RDOF program. Resound has already surpassed the 20 percent build milestone and is ahead of schedule for completing its multi-state RDOF network. This same technology stack will be used in Beaver County to support gigabit-speed residential and institutional service plans.\\n\\nDeployment will begin within 90 days of award and follow a rapid buildout sequence designed to complete all engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction within 18 months. Rolling activations will allow underserved and unserved residents to benefit from new service as segments go live, and CAIs will be prioritized for early delivery.\\n\\nThe Beaver County NET(s) are small in scale but strategically significant. This project will ensure that critical public institutions and remote households alike are equipped with future-proof broadband service, delivered by a provider with proven operational experience in Oklahoma’s rural environment.
