This project builds to 88 rural locations primarily in and around the town of Cushing, Chandler, Stroud and Drumright within the Tribal Boundaries of Sac and Fox Nation Tribe. Please note that Centranet is currently building a network for Sac and Fox Nation under the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program and Sac and Fox Nation has confirmed that only Centranet is authorized to build in their tribal lands. They will only provide a resolution of consent to Centranet and no other internet service provider. This is confirmed in the attached letter from the tribal chief. The project will be a Fiber to the Home Project that will deploy XGSPON technology to these locations. The Oklahoma Broadband Office has identified these locations as unserved/underserved under the BEAD program. Fiber is the most cost-effective solution for the long term that will not require investments in to this infrastructure again for over 30 years and more. Centranet has an existing fiber network which will be extended to serve these locations and will be the most cost-effective way of doing so.
